A company run by Motorhome Republic, Real Value Motorhomes caters the budget market through their fleet of Class C motorhomes in different sizes.
Real Value Motorhomes is just one of the many entities being handled by a large and rather popular corporation. As this business takes advantage of a booking engine to advertise their rentals, this means that you’ll have a great deal of savings from them. However, this also means not-so-personalized service, hence possible rental issues while on the road. Still, they try to compensate for everything by having lots of depots for easier pick-up and drop-offs.
In case you do not know, Real Value Motorhomes is also a third party company that rents out a fleet of well-equipped motorhomes from another company. A quite complicated rental chain, really. But good thing, these 2014- 2017 RV models are great for a low-cost road trip, whether you’re with your friends or family.
Petite but perfect for a family of 4. This small motorhome fits 2 adults and 2 children comfortably and is tailored with a small kitchen, bathroom, rear dinette bed, and large cabover bed. At 19’, don’t expect an overly spacious interior.
An economical motorhome for a family of 4 to 5, this medium-sized RV is tailored with a permanent rear bed, cabover bed, and a dinette bed. The L-shaped kitchen is conveniently positioned at the center while the bathroom is at the back, beside the double bed. The bedroom and living quarters are set close together for easy access.
If you want space, then the large Class C can give you a comfy holiday with its slide-out set on the sofa bed. Styled with almost the same layout with the medium version, this motorhome does not distinctly separate the living area from the bedroom.
The C XLarge is, of course, the biggest model that accommodates up to 6 persons. Also with a slide-out, this motorhome features a separate toilet and shower, and a very spacious, slightly private bedroom with lots of cabinets.
Perfect for gutsy families with 4 adults and 1 child, the Adventurer features a comfy lounge at the rear area, which alters into a private bedroom at night. Both kitchen and bathroom are settled in the middle part of the motorhome. There are 4 seats at the front area, including the driver’s seat. At night, the cab-over provides two single beds.
C Run of Fleet
These Class C Run of Fleet (ROF) units range from 19’ to 31’ motorhomes, which means you will be given one of the five models on the fleet, depending on availability. This is slightly not suitable if you want a particular model. But if you want a hint of surprise, then this might work for you.
The security bond amounting to $7,500 can be reduced by availing the ‘All Inclusive Package’ at $52. This add-on not only reduces the insurance excess/ bond to $750 but also includes the preparation fee and convenience kit. The additional amount must be paid, together with the security bond, at the time of pick-up via credit card pre-authorization.
No doubt, as a third party, Real Value Motorhomes can give you good and really competitive prices. However, their reputation can be quite skeptical, especially that you do not know who are the real owners of the motorhomes. Further, their fleet isn’t that big with only 5 options, which are all Class C motorhomes.
Despite its relatively dubious reputation, this third party RV company run by a booking website attracts those on a tight budget. But well, it would be best to rent a unit directly from a ‘real’ company.
