About Yama Nomad

A fusion of both Japanese and Canadian cultures, Yama Nomad focuses on practical campervans with minimalist design. They are located in Calgary, just at the basecamp of Canadian Rocky Mountains. This locally-grown, Canadian business allows you to get away with the frenzied city life to connect with your inner nomad. At Yama, you can get to experience a cozy Airbnb-like adventure because of their luxury accommodation on wheels that already come with unlimited km's. And since they are certified pet-friendly, bring your pet and get $50 off your booking! Amazing, right?

Fleet

Yama Nomad is starting to expand their campervan range. It begins with their sophisticated, customized vans. These are handcrafted to provide you with a luxury kind of road trip. Featuring a minimalist design, driving this campervan is such a breeze. Not only that, it's easy to park because of the vehicle dimension. The Yama Nomad campervans are latest, Mercedes Sprinter models that cater to 2 people (plus your furry friend!).

Vehicles

Christopher Wallace

The 2018 Christopher Wallace, or the Notorious, is a beautiful, black sophisticated campervan. Inside this gorgeous vehicle are functional amenities, including a full bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, cozy bed, and massive solar power bank. The handmade leather seats are designed for long road trip days. Distinctively, there's a cozy reading space stocked with bookshelf, storage, outlet, and LED dimmable lights.

Insurance

Yama Nomad provides an insurance policy that covers $2 M third-party liability, standard accident benefits, and collision and comprehensive. The deductible is $5,000 but can be reduced to $1,500 or $500 for an added daily fee. You need to be at least 25 with a valid driver’s license to drive their vans.

Reputation

Yama Nomad maybe new but they are something to look forward to in the coming years. With only one depot and few campervans on offer, they cater to limited renters only. They focus on luxury yet minimalist campervan hires, hence they may not be suitable for those on a tight budget. Still, you will be amazed by their fleet of pet-friendly and fully-equipped campervans. These units are 2018 Mercedes Sprinter models that come with unlimited km's. And, if you bring your four-legged friends, you get a discount!

Summary

With Yama Nomad, you can take the keys to your tiny home on wheels and explore Canada with your four-legged companion in luxury.
