Just Go Motorhomes is a large holiday company that offers a massive selection of automatic motorhomes, ranging from 2 berth to 6 berth units, all with shower & toilet as well as TV/ DVD and status aerial.
With more than a decade of rental experience and more than 15,000 hires, Just Go Motorhomes is definitely bigger and popular than you think. This famed motorhome hire company shelters a fleet of over 200 luxury units at their one and only depot in Bedfordshire, a little north of Luton, which is easily accessible. However, since this is a pretty large corporation, business hours is business hours unlike those small and more accommodating family businesses. You need to stick to their operating hours or else you will lose a day. Also, no Sundays.
Claimed as the largest motorhome hire company in the UK, Just Go Motorhomes can provide you with something that fits your taste. They have an extensive number of units, all of which are luxury, automatic motorhomes. And take note, all of these are owned and personally maintained by the company. As the Just Go team wants to ensure quality rentals before heading out on your adventure, they make sure that all rental vehicles are not more than 2 years old. There are 6 different models to choose from, starting with the compact 2 berths to larger family motorhomes.
The Just Go’s fleet starts with their one and only 2 berth unit, which is a compact, economical and low-line motorhome. This unit is fitting for laid-back couples who want an easy to drive campervan with all appointments of a home. The spacious lounge area also functions as the bedroom to save more space inside. Just press the control button and the electronic double bed lowers down from the ceiling to become a cozy sleeping area. The entire rear is for the bathroom while the galley kitchen with oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and even a starter kit is neatly positioned next to the dinette.
The 4 berth motorhomes have the most number on fleet. These units vary with the interior layout as well as the fitted out windows. For this particular vehicle, it features a rear double bed, which is a permanent one. The other sleeping option for the remaining two passengers would be at the fixed bed from the ceiling of the living area, just above the dinette. The generous space in the private bedroom is great for couples needing privacy from their kids!
The cozy U-lounge makes this 4 berth very unique and a dream come true for those needing some panoramic views while on the road. The large windows can definitely make your daydreaming or stargazing more memorable and sociable. Aside from the convertible U-lounge, there's another double bed on-board that leaves space and flexibility to all passengers inside. A separate toilet and shower is also provided for extra comfort.
Travelling with your kids who want to have their own space is made easier with this 4 berth with 2 large single twin beds at the rear. Or if you are exploring the unknown with your closest friends, then you can set up the back into a spacious double bed in just a couple of seconds. The versatility of this motorhome gives options for different types of travellers on board. Also, the bathroom features a separate toilet and shower while the full kitchen has all cooking and dining facilities needed.
The only Class A motorhome offered by Just Go, this 4 berth is all about luxury living on wheels; hence you need to cash out extra Euros for this one. But you will not be disappointed as the unit is way elegant than the other Just Go vehicles, starting with the private rear bedroom with an island bed to the vanity area located between the toilet and shower. Further, we are talking about a Class A motorhome with bigger and better driving views. So, instead of having limited road views and uncomfortable driving sessions, behold as you'll have a more pleasant road trip all throughout your holiday!
For groups who want more space and heaps of storage, then you can rent out this 6 berth motorhome. Specifically designed with two fixed rear double beds, one at the rear and the other one at the cab-over, and convertible double dinette, the practical layout makes this unit ideal for larger families or bigger group of friends. Located next to the dinette is the full bathroom and adjacent to it is the well-equipped kitchen.
Ideal for group of newly found friends or families with kids, the 6 berth motorhome features a flexible accommodation. With 4 separate beds, everyone in transit has her/ his own space, from the two bunk beds at the rear to the double bed over the luton. Plus, this unit is great for outdoor and sport enthusiasts as there's a huge storage locker for your sport equipment and even skis!
Included in the rate is the standard excess of £1000.00 per accident or reported incident, which also corresponds to the amount of needed security deposit payable by credit card or debit card. To reduce the excess to £ 0, avail of the Collision Damage Waiver at £25.00 per night. The extra euros per night will also cover the cost of replacement tyres or windscreen, which is a great thing to lessen possible risk of damages.
The extensive offering of motorhomes is good as a whole. However, some have noted that the problem lies with the service, from slight incompetent staff to floppy procedures. Considering this is a large rental company, with a huge amount of rentals, this is something to be expected occasionally. Still, they are one of the few recommended motorhome hires, not just in the UK but across Australia and New Zealand.
Hiring a campervan from Just Go is simple. Their London depot is very accessible to and from the airports. Even better, Just go offers a lot of choices for different number of travellers.

Tell the world about your experience renting from this companyVehicle broke down with electrical faults midweek, Ford Assist and Aa couldn’t repair it. Left messages on office answerphone for help.
So battery charged we drove it back to base. They refused to pro rata refund us and gave us details of Consumer Body BVRLA. Should have had a reply in 28 days. never did!!
Not only did we lose out on hire charges, we lost on prepaid activities we had book and pitch fees for the remainder of holiday. Would not recommend, feel ripped off!
If I could give a negative review I would.
Our motorhome was changed from an exact model and a 5 berth to 4 less than a week before departure. I have been given 3 different reasons as to why this changed. If we had picked a mystery motorhome I could have saved considerably.
The vehicle given meant children aged 13 and 5 had to share a bed.
On collection I was left waiting over 90 minutes as JustGo could not process the deposit due to their bank not being setup correctly. Instead I was told my card had been declined in front of other customers which was extremely embarrassing when it was their fault. To make matters worse they also blocked my credit card so I was further embarrassed having my card reject elsewhere due to them processing my card 8 times for the same payment!!
I eventually had to pay the £1500 deposit on my debit card before they would release the vehicle despite it being their issue.
The vehicle “upgrade” as JustGo want to call it certainly wasn’t. It was less space, less beds…. But a free outdoor table was given to compensate. If I had picked a 4 berth motorhome I could have saved a fortune.
No consideration was taken on changing our vehicle regarding the accessibility for us and the disability implications. We have tried to engage with JustGo but after initial discussion they now fail to reply.
Our compensation offer for a whole saga of events is one free night on a future booking!!! Instead of resolving the issue and discussing it with us to find a suitable remedy we are being ignored.
This company scams money from people. FullStop. Long story short, the motorhome was broken into and when contacted they said they would be able to pay for damages if we got an invoice and it would be done on insurance. Then they rang and said it would be easier for me to pay and they would organise things when we got back. Well. Not only did they not reimburse me, they sent me a bill 2 hours after I left the place to replace an already damaged part of their motorhome!! They eventually took the money out of my bank as well, which cost me almost $1500 overall for damages.
They said if I had of taken out collision insurance they would have claimed it on that. It doesn't take an insurance expert to figure out what they're trying to do here. Perhaps the authorities will like to look into these people?
Adding to that, they lied when I got back to drop the motorhome off, they asked me to fill out a survey about their on road team and how they were on the phone when I had problems ie break in. I thought, they were delightful to speak with so I gave them marks accordingly.
Little did I know, it was actually a review of them as a business, which they knew damn well everyone that deals with them are disappointed and uipset. Slimy, Slimy, Slimy, Slimy people.
While I was there I counted no less than 8 groups of people that had dropped the motorhome back to them. NOT 1 had a good experience with the company. The motorhome experience itself was good, Just Go and their scamming ways, everyone was completely annoyed to say the least.
As the title says, Just Go...Somewhere else and save the headache.
Don't use this company and don't use any company that deals with them either. Drive them out of business, it's the best for everyone.
Service and staff excellent .The near new motorhome made our 6 week UK holiday experience fantastic.Had problem with GPS satnav which was fully refunded.Would hire again and recommend joining UK Caravan & Motorhome club great camps
Picked up vehicle and drove to destination
No hot water no heating no TV
When i phoned and left message for support no one rang me back at all
When I dropped off vehicle and told them I was met by support who said sorry but he didn't even know there was an answering message on his support dept although I clearly had proof on my phone
He checked vehicle and got it working so we had been told to use a mix for hot water instead of gas on its own ?
The TV was said not be working because we were in lake District even though all the other vehicles and caravans on site were working ?
The man who was dealing with me went into office and when came out went to another customer and started dealing with him
I had to follow him out and ask if we were done
Again yes sorry didn't I say was said to me
It was as if everything was dismissed
There were only 4_5 people dropping off and I had issues
Japanese man had something broke in bathroom
Another had kitchen sink
Another couldn't empty grey waste as couldn't open it
I just got the impression that after a while these van would be in a good shape
We left the vehicle immaculate inside and even washed the tea towels so no deductions should be taken
I did expect to talk about a part refund for the issues we had but that was never going to happen
I hope they do give other customers the correct info or at least return the calls they get
To nit know that your support department has an answering machine is crazy
I would like them to contact me about a refund but I'm not holding my breath
Upon first glance the motorhome looked great: it was 3 months off the lot, had solar panels and some nifty additions, such as the lowering bed. However, as soon as we pulled into our first campsite and started to use the thing, bits and pieces began to fall apart all around us - the plastic detailing, button tops, etc. The worst part was that the employees had not done a proper pre-trip check as we quickly realized that something was wrong with the water tank - leading to us spending the entire trip without water. When we asked for partial refund due to this we were told we could go through the customer service department. Now, a month after the trip we've been told that the case was closed at check-out and thus, no refund can be issued. Terrible customer service.
Dear K. Mitts, Thank you for taking the time to review Just go. It is disappointing to hear that you feel that the customer service department were unhelpful. We do always strive to resolve every situation with the customer directly so that they are happy with the outcome. Looking through our records, I cannot find a case relating to your surname. Can you please contact me directly via phone on 01525 878000 or via email at [email protected] with your booking reference number so I can look into this further. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards Sabrina @ Just go
