As part of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of British Columbia, renting an RV from Courtenay Car Centre can be a good choice. They are positioned in the heart of Courtenay, BC, which is just a couple of hours away from the famed surfing district, Tofino. Courtenay Car Centre is one of the few rental companies in Vancouver Island that is not located in the capital city, Victoria. But to give comfort to the renters, they allow pick up and drop off of their units anywhere on the island, for a fee.  

Fleet

Though they major in travel trailer rental, Courtenay Car Centre also offers motorhomes for hire. All their motorhomes are Class C models, mostly compact units for couples and families. Their motorhomes are a combination of Adventurer and Thor Majestic models, which cater to 4 to 6 persons. For added comfort, they rent out extras like BBQ, bike racks, television, lawn chairs, and more.

19′ Adventurer Motorhome

Let's get on with the smallest motorhome on offer―the 19′ Adventurer Motorhome. This compact model, even with its limited length, can sleep up to 4 persons, at the rear bed and cabover bed. In the middle area of the RV are the kitchen and the toilet. All of you can dine in together at the rear lounge, which also converts into the double bed. If you want an alfresco feast, then you can eat comfortably under the awning.

20′ Adventurer Motorhome

A bit bigger Adventurer model, this is motorhome is another choice for a family of 4. The layout is pretty much the same as the previous unit―two double beds, a toilet, and a kitchen. So, if you're eyeing for a quite spacious RV, this one can be a great option. 

22′ Adventurer Motorhome

For groups of 6, you can rent out their 22′ Adventurer Motorhome that now comes with a dinette. This small dining area alters into a comfy bed at night. Other sleeping areas inside are the permanent rear double bed and cabover double bed. Because of the added sleeping place, the shower and toilet are located at the back. Conversely, because of the extended length and added facility, this motorhome is one of the priciest RV on offer. 

23′ Majestic Thor Motorhome

Also sleeping 6 people, this 23' RV is the only Thor Majestic model. As the biggest motorhome to date, this is the best option for those eyeing for a spacious stay while on the road. The added length means added amenity, which is the extra seat behind the passenger's seat. Still, the campervan is equipped with all the essentials, including the shower & bath, rear double bed, kitchen, dream dinette, and storage areas.

Courtenay Car Centre is quite known for their travel trailer rentals, though their motorhomes also deserve a try. Their compact motorhomes, even with the limited options, are suitable for couples and families up to 6.
