Editors Review

A local RV business in Victoria BC, RV Rent Vancouver Island, or simply RVRVI, sets out their entire fleet of Class C motorhomes to accommodate couples, families, and large groups.

About RV Rent Vancouver Island

This small and locally run RV rental in Vancouver gots its name from its location (of course!). RV Rent Vancouver Island gives complimentary pick-up and drop-off at certain areas, including Victoria International Airport, Washington State Ferries, and BC Ferries. Unfortunately, they do not offer service to Clipper and vice versa. They have been in the industry since 2008.

Fleet

As of this writing, they have 17 units to choose from―ranging from Okanagan to Majestic and Adventure to Travelaire models. These Class C motorhomes are perfect for all occasions like family gatherings, mobile office, long-term accommodation, and even movie production.

Vehicles

19’ Okanagan

A rather unique motorhome, the 19’ Okanagan is such a delight for small, touring families. It’s recommended for 2 adults and 2 children. Because of its smaller size, it is very easy to drive and park. Surprisingly, this small unit already comes with a full cabover bed, convertible dinette, kitchen, and shower.

19’ Majestic

Also sleeping 2 to 4 people, this compact RV features a nice folding bed that provides an extra sleeping area for the kiddos. At 19’, the unit may be small but it still exudes comfort because of the high ceiling and internal access. And comparatively, both kitchen and bathroom are placed at the rear. So, sleeping areas are at the cabover bed and dinette bed.

20’ Adventurer

A bit bigger than the previous two motorhomes, this 20’ Adventurer features a U-shaped lounge with storage underneath. This booth dinette easily converts into a large bed that sleeps up to two persons. Inside, there’s a traditional kitchen with microwave, sink, oven, stove, and the like. Even with its shorter length, you’ll love the interior because of the expanded width that gives extra space.

24’ Majestic

This bigger Majestic model is another spacious option for 4 to 6 people. At 24’, this Class C motorhome offers a more comfortable ride because of its versatile layout. The dinette and sofa transform into cozy beds while the cabover area provides a permanent double bed. Just like a traditional family RV, it comes with a kitchen, shower, and lots of storage areas.

25′ Adventurer

The 25’ Adventurer is another classic family motorhome. Best for 4 adults and 2 children, sleeping arrangements inside include the permanent cab-over bed and rear bed as well as the fold down dinette. Aside from the interior storage, you can store your sports equipment at the exterior rear compartment.

25′ Travelaire

Accommodating 4 to 6 people, the 25’ Travelaire is such a great option for a medium-sized family. Sleeping arrangements inside the campervan are the cabover bed, fold down dinette, and permanent rear double bed. Just like the previous 25’ unit, this one offers an extra storage area outside. One extra feature that makes this vehicle unique is the extra chair at the back of the passenger’s seat.

25’ Majestic

Last for the 4-6 berth category is the 25’ Majestic model that outlines the basic family campervan layout―bedroom, shower & toilet, dinette, kitchen, and storage cabinets. In comparison to other same models, this unit has more windows and extra seat adjacent to the dinette bed.

30’ Majestic

The one and only option for groups up to 7 people, this biggest Majestic model is still a breeze to drive even at 30’. Families will love this spacious campervan because of its walkthrough feature and other amazing facilities such as the queen cabover bed, rear queen bed, dinette bed, and sofa bed. The L-shaped kitchen is well-equipped with all the cooking and dining essentials so no need to worry.

Insurance

RV Rent Vancouver Island requires $26 per day insurance for a $5M third party liability and $1,000 deductible per incident. Be it known that the company requires a damage deposit of $1,000 for Canadian renters and $1,500 for non-Canadians.

Reputation

Though not that famous compared to other rental companies in the country, RV Rent Vancouver Island surprises travelers with their great fleet of small, medium, and large motorhomes. Their complimentary pick-up and drop-off transfer is such a nice add-on to their growing reputation.
