About Family RV

A small, locally-owned company in Northern California, Family RV has been in the rental industry for over three decades. And their secret? Though the company almost offers everything― from service to sales, the rental department is the core of their business. Aside from motorhomes, there are also towables on set, which can easily be maneuvered. If you opt to leave your personal vehicle with them, you can but at an additional charge per day. Family RV offers airport pick-up at San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland areas.

The RVs can cater up to 10 persons and highlight distinct features like large slide-outs, huge bunk beds, spacious living space, and fitted kitchen layout. Most vehicles are newer models and are fully loaded with camping facilities and essentials that include kitchen and bedding kits.

If the insurance binder cannot be provided, then you can avail of the company's insurance at $29.95/ day. The deductible depends on the rented unit: $1,000 for class C, $1,500 for class A gas, and $2,000 for class A diesel, per occurrence. Also take note that insurance rates vary during seasons.

Reputation

Family RV provides a serious run for rental companies in San Francisco. Well, they have been in the business for over three decades, offering a wide array of motorhomes and trailers. With that, they have carved a creditable reputation yet still offer only one depot. Their rates are quite competitive but you need to pay and additional charge for storage of personal vehicle.

Summary

Renting out a vehicle from Family RV is desirable and you can take a cue from the numerous positive reviews, and of course, the extensive rental experience.
