About Olathe RV Center

A rather popular family business in Kansas City, Olathe RV Center is distinguished in many ways, and one of their established services is their RV rental. Their location is quite accessible, with a nearby campground. If you pick-up late or drop-off early, they do not give refunds but rather return of unused mileage. Also, they allow you to leave your personal car at their lot, as well as offer airport pick-up and drop-off at a minimal additional price. As a reputable RV center that is locally-owned and operated, this large RV company takes pride of some of the best service-oriented folks in the biz. Their rates are budget to mid-range.

Fleet

One of the good things about their RVs for hire is that they are pet-friendly, current-year models with 100 miles per day and 3 hours generator usage. All motorhomes are self-contained, featuring fully-equipped kitchens, fully-functional bathrooms, comfy sleeping areas and onboard generator, but do not have baby car seats. You need to bring one if you're with a child. Some units have awnings and TV/DVD/ stereo. These Class A and Class C motorhomes are mainly suitable for large families.

Vehicles

24' Class C Coachmen Freelander

The smallest yet the most versatile is this 24' Class C Coachmen Freelander that caters up to 5 to 6 people. Yes, a brood of 6 can enjoy a scenic road trip, with all comforts of home, from kitchen and pantry to bathroom and dining lounge. The cab-over bunk comes with a swing-arm TV, so you can watch from different angles. The length may not completely give utmost comfort for fancy travellers looking for a super spacious layout. Still, this one is a nice deal for a small, unassuming family.

32' Class C Coachmen Freelander

A bigger Coachmen Freelander, this 32' RV now sleeps up to 8. This double slide-out unit provides a roomier interior space and a flip down bunk with extra dining area. There's a step-up located before the bunk and bathroom, giving a hint of privacy. Because of the added length, the bathroom comes with a separate toilet and shower. Plenty of overhead cabinets are positioned above the sofa and dinette. And this one comes with an outside entertainment system.

27' Class C Coachmen Leprechaun

Another Class C RV is the Coachmen Leprechaun model at 27'. This motorhome with two slide-outs also sleeps a family of 8.  Comparative to the other Class C unit, this one has a J-lounge instead of the classic dinette. The sleeping places are located only on the sofa bed, lounge, rear queen bed and cab-over bed.

32' Class C Coachmen Leprechaun

This 32' Coachmen Leprechaun also sleeps 8 and has two slides. But what separates this from other Class C RVs is the interior design. Unlike most of the RVs with sofa and dinette adjacent to each other, this one positions both on one side, leaving the other side for the kitchen. Other than that, the unit features almost the same facilities and inclusions with most Class C motorhomes.

30' Class A Coachmen Pursuit

The smallest among all the Class A RVs is this 30' Coachmen Pursuit. The motorhome isn't really that small and can even accommodate up to 6 to 7. Also, this one got a full-wall slide-out and roomy outdoor storage. Step into this classy couch and you will see the beautiful interior design and functional amenities, including dinette bed, large sofa, refrigerator, shower and toilet, and the list continues. Also, the electric front drop-down bunk comes as a surprise for everyone, especially your kids!

32' Class A Coachmen Pursuit

Two feet bigger than the smallest Coachmen Pursuit, this 32' Class A now brings a king-sized bed onboard! Featuring two slides, you can expect for an abundant interior space and storage, together with some posh amenities. And surprisingly for a Class A, this one provides a large drop-down bunk in the living room so that it can have a sleeping capacity of up to 7.

33' Class A Coachmen Pursuit

Lastly, the 33' Coachmen Pursuit is the biggest motorhome that attracts a group of 9. It is slightly bigger compared to the  32' Coachmen Pursuit but they have almost the same layout, except for the added bunk beds before the rear bedroom. The bunk sets can be converted into an extra wardrobe. Also, there's an extra table in between the driver and passenger seat, just below the drop-down bunk.

Insurance

All motorhome rentals already include the state minimum liability, as well as comprehensive, collision and fire coverage. You may avail of the additional Supplementary Liability Insurance from MBA. Also, the company requires a security deposit of $1,000 paid via credit card.

Reputation

Without a question, Olathe RV Center is one of the big names in Kansas City RV businesses. They have been in the business for over 40 years and counting. This family-owned business has proven to be accommodating and upfront about their service- Midwest style (straight to the point) with a hint of hospitality. And since this is an RV center, you have the option to rent the RV of your liking before buying. However, you need to book ahead because the company itself is an in-demand RV choice in the area.
