About Ramblin Vans

This small campervan hire in Portland was born out of love for music and adventure. Yep, the owner is a certified fan of Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers and a true lover of adventure―hence, the birth of this campervan rental company. Ramblin Vans, in particular, caters to couples and small families (plus a good doggo!). And another great feature about them is that their units can travel around the US up to Canada. They also provide airport transfers for a small fee.

Fleet

Ramblin Vans focuses on one campervan model, which is a family unit. These black-painted vans with company logos are suitable for 2 to 5 people. Well, technically, their campervans are good for 2 persons only but can extend up to 5 since they offer a rooftop tent and there are 5 seatbelts provided. Plus, you can bring your furry friend with you! Each rental comes with 150 miles per day. 

Vehicles

This 2010 automatic, Chevy Express 3500, V8 is the only campervan style on offer. Though older, this Family Camper, fondly called as Midnight, is such a breeze to drive. Plus, it has all the comforts you need, except for a bathroom. Still, this campervan is great for couples and small families up to 5. Since this is actually a 2 berth campervan, 3 persons will have to sleep on the cascade vehicle tent on top. A small kitchen area is fitted at the rear. And for extra adventure, you can also rent paddleboards, bikes, and other sports equipment. And there's nothing to worry about because this unit offers a lot of storage spaces. 

Insurance

If you have full auto insurance coverage, you can utilize such to insure the campervan. Be sure to verify it with your insurance company if they allow it. If not, Ramblin Vans provides Supplemental Liability Insurance for $14.95 per day.
