Editors Review

Whatever your choice―whether it's RV, trailer camper, jet ski, or boat rental―Adventure West RV has something to offer you. The RV department of this long-running rental company caters groups from 6 to 8 persons. wanting to explore the Western Slope of Colorado.

About

With over two decades of experience, Adventure West RV certainly knows how the rental business works. This makes it easier for them to manage different types of renters, with various preferences. They are an all-in-one rental company with a great range of rental units, which are not limited to RVs. Their pick-up and drop-off area is located in Grand Junction, Colorado. And in each RV rental, this already includes 150 miles per night.

Fleet

Their rental fleet is quite extensive. They don't just offer recreational vehicles but also trailer campers, boat, and skis for hire. In particular, their RV collection is a mix of old and new units, ranging from 2018 to 2002. Their RV units are stocked with cookware and cleaning necessities. However, you need to rent out their linen set since it's not included in the rental.

Vehicles

2018 Freelander Coachmen Motorhome

The newest RV on fleet also sleeps the most number of persons inside a motorhome. It has a maximum capacity of 8 persons via four different double beds―couch bed, loft bed, dinette bed, and walk around queen bed. At 26', this unit is pretty spacious because of the slide-out and versatile layout. It has a bathroom with shower and entertainment set with TV/DVD player. Aside from the interior storage, there's also a large exterior storage compartment for your sports gears.

2015 Thor Freedom Elite Motorhome

Quite older and a bit smaller, this 2015 Thor Freedom Elite surprisingly sleeps a family of 6. Its interior layout consists of a small side kitchen, dinette bed, rear full-size bed, and cabover bed. Also at the back is the bathroom with shower/tub and closet. And, you are provided with a TV/DVD inside and storage space outside.

2012 Jayco Greyhawk Motorhome

The 2012 Jayco Greyhawk is one of the largest motorhomes on offer. Featuring one large slide-out, the unit comfortably sleeps up to 7 persons, making it a perfect fit for big groups. This family motorhome offers loft sleeping quarters as well as a walkaround queen bed, a dinette bed, and a foldable couch. The kitchen is loaded with all essential facilities including a stove, microwave, and refrigerator/ freezer. And if you're feeling adventurous, prepare your food outside using the exterior grill.

2002 Bounder Motorhome

To complete the fleet is the oldest 2002 Bounder, which is also the biggest RV for rent. But even with its super-extended length, it only provides comfort to up to 6 persons. Accordingly, this gives lots of extra space for roaming around inside. It also has slide-out for a more capacious living/ dining area. The master area, on the other hand, spells out extreme sophistication, which includes a walkaround queen bed, large closet, and a TV.

Insurance

For motorized RVs, you are required to pay a security deposit of $750. Give them a call to verify if you can present your insurance binder with their RV included in the coverage.

Reputation

Being in the business for quite some time, Adventure West RV has created their own name in the rental industry in Grand Junction, Colorado. And, they not just focus on a specific rental category but instead on four different classes―RVs, camper trailers, boats, and jetskis. This means that travelers have lots of options to choose from. Though they only have one depot, there haven't been problems with the location itself.

Their RVs, in particular, are suitable for big groups up to 8 persons, hence not that admirable for starting families and couples. Their RV fleet also is a combination of vehicles with age models from 2002 to 2018. So, if you're picky, better choose their most recent RV, which is the 2018 Freelander Coachmen.

Summary

Adventure West RV is not all about RV rentals. They've got something for almost all types of travelers. But if you want comfort above all, then their family RVs are fantastic.
