A family-owned rental business in Vista, RVRent.Net specializes in motorhomes and trailers rentals since 1992, which might allow you to bring along your furry pets during the holiday.
What RVRent.Net Tells Us
Since its establishment, RVRent.Net has completed more than 10, 000 rentals in San Diego (mostly positive), giving other small and new rental companies a tight competition over the years. The company has seemingly known how to entice renters by providing a wide array of vehicles and lots of exciting add-ons like free 100 miles per day, usage of generator, complimentary kits and accessories, and more!
Aside from being a family business providing personalized service, one feature that makes RVRent.Net more attractive than other rental entities is it being a pet-friendly RV hire.
Fleet
The company offers an extensive selection of Class A and Class C motorhomes, as well as travel and tent trailers, in different styles for different types of renter. These units do not come with any fancy or head-turner exteriors, which means your rental isn't the moving billboard of the company, allowing you to have a more discreet and convenient road trip. In the Class A category, or popularly known as bus style motorhomes, the smallest is at 32 ft. while the largest is at 40 ft. These motorhomes are preferred by those wanting a higher view of the road and bigger space inside. The Class C units, on the other hand, are the 'truck style' motorhomes that have more sleeping places because of the bed over the cab and are easier to drive around because of the compact vehicle dimension. In particular, the Class C's can normally sleep up to 10 people, with the largest unit on fleet at 31 ft. and the smallest at 23 ft.
Class A
Georgetown
A recent 35' motorhome, Georgetown gives you almost everything on board, complete sleeping accommodations and fully-equipped living/ dining quarters. Since this unit is pretty large, it provides two bathrooms— a full bath in the rear bedroom and half-sized bath in the midsection. It can also sleep 8 to 10 with sleeping places in the dinette, sofa, bunks, pull down bed over cab. Highlighting its vinyl flooring, the unit is easy to clean, plus there is no additional fees for exterior washing when you return the RV.
Allegro
A smaller Class A motorhome, either at 32 or 35 ft., the Allegro considers tagging along your furry pets during your holiday. It can sleep 6 to 8 only, leaving more room to roam around inside. Choose where you want to sleep— queen-sized bed, bunk beds, or the sofa bed. The two slide-outs extend the space in the rear bedroom and living area. Privacy screens are also provided for those who need a more private holiday on wheels.
Excursion
One of the largest units on fleet is the 40 ft. Excursion, making it ideal for large groups. This motorhome is all about of space— several slide-outs, spacious interiors and bigger dimension. As expected, all essential facilities are on set such as dinette, sofa bed, love seat, overhead cabinets, pantry, shower and toilet and so much more.
Terra
This may be older model but still reliable on the road, especially for those travellers with kids. Not only that, there is a possibility for you to bring your pets during your holiday. With a length of 34', the RV comfortably sleeps 7 to 8. Even with the slightly tight sleeping arrangement because of the number of persons allowed, there are still lots of space inside. The two slide-outs fitted out in the living room and bedroom extend the area for a more pleasant stay on wheels.
Bounder
This 2006 model run by diesel is fitting for smaller groups wanting extreme comfort. Well, the RV is 40 ft. but only sleeps up to 6. It features three slide-outs and a pullout galley extension that provides a more spacious room inside. And if you're travelling with your children, don't worry because the entertainment system is complete, like the two LCD TV's provided for free.
Fleetwood Discovery
Another 40 ft on set, the Fleetwood Discovery is great option for bigger groups. The slide-out starts from the sofa bed and extends to the dinette. However, the RV is quite unique because you need to pass through the bath area before the entering the bedroom. There are cabinets and overhead storage all over the vehicle, so don't worry about where to place your stuff.
Fleetwood Storm
The last pick for the Class A motorhomes is the Fleedwood Storm— a 32 ft RV with large patio awning and several sleeping places. There's the queen-sized bed, bunk beds, sofa bed and cab over bed for you to choose from after a long and fulfilling road trip. The kitchen/ dining area is supplied with the essentials such as microwave, refrigerator, sink, and a lot more.
Class C
MinnieWinnie
A simple exterior does not mean that the interior is dull and boring. Behold, the Minnie Winnie, a compact Class motorhome that equips you with the needed amenities such as beds, microwave, sink, toilet, dinette table and the like. Along with the essentials, some useful extras like slide-out and awning are provided for free.
Siesta
The Siesta provides seat belts for 5 but could sleep up to 4 only. The limited sleeping capacity allows a comfier sleeping session without the feeling of too restricted. This motorhome is also one of the many units that are pet-friendly and provides seating options for kids. Just like most of the RVs, this unit is tailored with two nice slide-outs. For smaller groups, you can opt for the 24 ft. Siesta in diesel, with almost the same features with the other, bigger Siesta. The two mainly differs with the positioning of the slide-outs— instead of usual side slide-outs, one of the two slide-outs for this motorhome is located at the rear area (queen bed) and it comes with an exterior LED TV.
Fourwinds
One of the smallest units of RVRent.Net, the Fourwinds at 22 ft. may lack in length, but it takes pride of the its inclusions that starts with the fully-equipped kitchen/ dining area with sink, microwave, dinette table and continues its way to the toilet and bedroom. The outdoor awning allows a nice alfresco dining under the warm sun or a pleasant get-together under the bright moon.
Forest River Forester
Another large motorhome on set is the Forest River Forester that is suitable for up to 8 people. The vehicle is a 2008 model that allows children inside with 5 seatbelts. It highlights some distinctive features like the U-shaped dinette with overhead cabinets, optional outside TV, and more. You can either choose bunk beds or TV with cabinets to be fitted out in the cab over.
Chateau Super C
The Chateau Super C is an ultimate Class C RV deal— very recent model, 6.7L power stroke V8 turbo diesel engine, bigger sleeping areas, and more exciting amenities. There are bunks beds near the rear, with the lower bunk convertible as dinette during the day. Other transformable sleeping places inside the unit are the jack-knife sofa and dream dinette at the opposite sides. The cab over also provides a bunk bed with LCD TV. The dining/ cooking area is equipped with flip-up cooktop with sink, fridge, microwave and overhead storage.
Jamboree Searcher
To complete the RVRent.Net fleet, the 22 ft. Jamboree Searcher is one of the two smallest RVs on offer. Ideal for 4 travellers, this motorhome is probably the most compact/ convenient option on hand. Instead of having a built-in queen bed at the rear, it features a roomy, convertible dinette that transforms into a spacious sleeping area at night. The other sleeping place for two is situated in the cab over. Unlike most RVs, this one features a bathroom with toilet & shower at the front side.
Insurance
Though the company provides insurance on all rentals, it is advisable to have your own insurance coverage, which may be at a cheaper cost. Further, RVRent.Net requires a $1500.00 security, and the return of such depends on the rental duration— for 5 days or less, the security deposit will act as authorization only, by which it will be returned within 5 days, and for over 5 days, the amount will be refunded within 15 days after return of the vehicle in good condition.
Reputation
For more than a decade, RVRent.Net has offered numerous rentals to travellers all over the world. Though they are not known for very competitive rental rates (some prices are bit high though not all outrageous), the company is very appealing for travellers/ pet owners. Most of the RVs are pet-friendly, and they offer a lot of enticing perks that include free rental on the pick-up and return-day, free 100 free miles generator usage, and free sanitation kit. Above all, the reputation of RVRent. Net is on the positive scale and many positive reviews can prove that.
Summary
With the wide array of rental vehicles, ranging from motorhomes to travel trailers, RVRent.Net gives a nice competition among other small, family businesses in San Diego. It is recommended if you are looking for a nice RV that will perfectly suit your needs, and that may include bringing your pets along your trip.
