Editors Review

Aside from sales, service, and parts, Ziegler's RV is also into rentals featuring its full-blown range of Class A and Class motorhomes, with some pet-friendly units.

About Ziegler's RV

Ziegler's RV is quite notable in Philadelphia because it offers an all-encompassing coverage―new and pre-owned sales, rentals, service, and parts. This RV center has only one location so they offer delivery and pick-up of units at an additional cost. In addition to their extensive scope of service, their rental department has been running for more than 3 decades.

Fleet

All motorhomes―Class A and Class C―are self-contained so renters can have a more comfortable road trip. Also, if you're planning to bring your pets, good thing because some units allow your furry friends inside. Most are close to brand new units, though there are some older motorhomes up to 2007. The vehicles are well-equipped, including awning and TV. But you need to bring your own pans, pots, pillows, and sheets.

Vehicles

Class C

25′ 2018/ 2017 Thor Four Winds model 23U

This Thor Fourwinds model opens the fleet with a bang. It has two options: the 2017 and the 2018 model. These automatic units are very easy to drive, though not that overly spacious inside. But because of its functional features like dinette conversion and cab-over bed with entertainment system, families up to 6 will appreciate this model.

27′ 2015 Thor Four Winds model 26A

Featuring one slide-out, this Class C also sleeps 6 through its jack-knife sofa, convertible bed, and permanent rear double bed. The motorhome is good for those travelling with kids because the dinette comes with a single child safety tether. Also, since this unit has a slide-out, you can expect for a more spacious layout, especially at the rear with bedroom and bathroom. Compared to the Thor Fourwinds, this model allocates the cab-over space as the entertainment/ storage area with TV and closets.

30′ 2018 Coachmen Freelander model 27QB

A bigger Class C, this motorhome provides 4 sleeping options to accommodate up to 8 passengers. Recommended for larger families, the unit does not have any slide-out but is long enough to provide a large living space with jack-knife sofa conversion and dinette conversion, rear queen bed, over cab queen, kitchen, and bathroom with shower and toilet. The bunk bed at the over cab is equipped with a swing TV that allows viewing from the cab over or the living quarters.

31′ 2015/ 2017 Sunseeker model 3100SS

Designed with one slide out, the 31' Sunseeker model is loaded with 4 rear bunks, over cab queen bed, large jack-knife sofa bed, and dinette bed. Hence, this one is the perfect treat for families with kids as it can cater to up to 8 people comfortably. The bathroom has a separate toilet and shower. There's a flip-counter at the kitchen for extended cooking and food preparation. Also, the over cab area gives you the option to add a TV. This motorhome has two variants: the 2015 and 2017 model.

32′ 2018 Thor Four Winds model 30D

For those on the hunt for a super spacious family accommodation, you can have this Thor Winds model. Providing you with more than comfort and convenience, just take note that you are driving a 32' motorhome, hence may be difficult to park. As the largest unit for the Class C range, you are equipped with 6 sleeping areas―rear walk around bed, jackknife sofa bed, dinette bed, over cab double bed, and bunk beds. The lower bunk can be converted into a dinette for additional dining option.

Class A Motorhomes

28′ 2007 Gulf Stream Independence model 8326LS

With 2 sleeping areas, this older motorhome sleeps up to 4 people with its rear walk around bed and dinette bed. The unit has two slide-outs for a roomier interior in the living room and rear bedroom. The kitchen area is well-equipped with freezer, stove top, microwave, and refrigerator while the kitchen is furnished with sink, toilet, shower with skylight, Not only that, the entertainment system nicely provided.

32′ 2011 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager model 32V

A bigger Class A with two slide-outs, this 2011 Gulf Stream Voyager houses up 7 people. The added length allows the addition of extra jackknife sofa and extended kitchen. Also, you get a slightly private bedroom with queen bed, wardrobe, and optional TV system. There are exterior storage compartments for your extra stuff.

33′ 2017 Coachmen Pursuit model 33BH

The largest and the newest Class A, this motorhome is ideal for a family of 10 travelling with kids. The bunk beds with 2 single beds and double size drop-down bunk are suitable for your kids. Adults can choose from the rear queen bed, dinette bed, and jackknife sofa as their sleeping options. You get almost the same features as the other Class A motorhomes like a full bathroom, large kitchen, entertainment system, and exterior storage. But one unique feature is the outside 32' TV for alfresco entertainment.

Insurance

For the insurance, you have the option to provide the binder of insurance from your insurance company or else you need to avail of their coverage, which is $1,000 deductible for motorhomes for an additional charge per day. This coverage also includes liability of $15,000 per person, $30,000 per accident, and $5,000 property damage. The company also offers Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) of up to $1,000,000 for extra coverage.

Reputation

Ziegler's RV is quite known in Philadelphia despite being a small RV dealer. It is because they present an all-encompassing service―, from sales to rentals and everything in between. Also, you are entertained by more accommodating staff. Another unique feature of Ziegler is that they have an extensive fleet, which is definitely an attraction to those who are looking for a perfect, personalized road trip.
