Editors Review

An RV dealer in Everett, Washington, Five Star RV Center' rental fleet is quite extensive with mostly new Class A, Class B and Class C models that are priced at competitive rates.

About Five Star RV Center

The rental, along with two other departments― sales and parts & service, makes Five Star RV Center a known RV dealer in Everett. Even with only one branch, the company is not difficult to reach because they are conveniently situated 30 minutes north of Seattle. Their rental showroom is packed with different RV types, some of which are pet-friendly. The rental rates are targeted to the budget to mid-range market but are not steady, especially during peak season, holidays and special events. The staff are competent enough and helpful all throughout the rental process. Hence, hiring a motorhome from them is good.

Fleet

Unto the fleet, it is composed of different types and sizes, from Class A diesel and Class B motorhomes, to travel trailers and pop-up trailers. Even if some vehicles are older and pre-owned models, few units are pet-friendly so you can bring your adorable companion with you. Not only that, it's nice to drive a vehicle that doesn't have a huge 'Rent Me' slogan or head-turner company name posted on the exteriors. Instead, they have complimentary generator usage, all regular rates come with a free 50 miles per day, and 100 free miles for winter rates. They give options to renters― whether to avail of the pre-rental packages that may include interior & exterior cleaning, dumping and sanitizing all holding tank or clean the RV by yourself.

Class A

American Tradition

The 2006 American Tradition is the flagship for the Class A units, with a whopping length of almost 40', 3 huge slide-outs and awning. This fully loaded diesel unit surprisingly is not suitable for very large families because it can sleep up to 4 people only, which means all comfort and space are at your hands. In addition to the the spacious layout, the cabin is equipped with two air-conditioners, roomy living quarters and a private bedroom.

Holiday Rambler Ambassador

Next in line is the 2004 Holiday Rambler Ambassador, a slightly smaller RV at 38' that sleeps up to 6. Because of the added sleeping capacity, this turbo diesel unit with Allison 6 speed 3000 and Roadmaster chassis is a good choice for bigger families. With two slide-outs, it can easily provide an extended interior layout. At the back of the front seats is a sofa sleeper and a nice swivel chair for afternoon talks. There are 2 TV sets inside, one at the living quarters and the other one at the rear bedroom.

Thor Motor Coach Ace

A 2018 Thor Motor Coach Ace, this latest 8 berth unit is all about versatility and compactness. At 28'9", the motorhome can furnish sleeping places for a big group. Not your usual Class A RV, this Ford Trito V10 provides a double bed on top of the front seat with coffee table. Unique features that make this RV more attractive include a double door refrigerator, microwave oven, walk around queen bedroom suite and a pull-out pet feeding station. That means, you may tag along your beloved furry pet during your holiday!

Class B

Fourwinds Siesta

Unto the Class B category, let's have the 2018 Fourwinds Siesta, featuring a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. This stylish 5 berth motorhome is luxurious in all aspects, from the deluxe full kitchen to the power patio awning. The twin beds with upholstered covers easily convert to king size bed. The luxury touches do not end there as there are exterior speakers with back-up monitor to make your trip more entertaining.

Fourwinds Sprinter

Another sleek and stylish 5 berth Class B is the Fourwinds Sprinter. Even with its slightly reduced length, it exudes comfort and luxury inside the cabin because of its 2 slide-outs. Featuring almost the same interior set-up with the other Class B model, this one is unique in terms of bathroom style and entertainment provisions. The full bathroom polishes a shower with retractable door and the 32" LED TV with DVD player is uniquely positioned on the manual swivel.

Class C

Freelander

The Coachmen Freelander has two models: the older but bigger RV and the newer but smaller unit. These are automatic motorhomes, ranging from 6 to 8 people sleeping capacities. The older motorhome is not actually a senior RV but rather a 2012 model with 29' length, 1 slide-out, 1 awning and 2 air-conditioners. The particular unit has a big queen bedroom suite and sleeping areas in the cab-over and living area. The newer RV, on the other hand, is a 2015 Freelander 21QB Ford that furnishes unparalleled factory features inside the cabin such as the cornered rear bed and bathroom, U-shaped dinette with overhead cabinets, counter-top extension in the kitchen and more.

Fourwinds

The Fourwinds model takes the most number of units on range, with 7 different styles and sleeping capacity. These motorhormes are suitable for small to large families, from 6 to 8 people. Depending on the unit, you can get one with 1 or 2 slide-outs, an electric awning and air-conditioner/s. There are also those that are bunkhouse models, which are ideal for bigger groups. Most of these units are equipped with cab-over bed with entertainment set, dream dinette, spacious sofa sleeper, power charging center, ample closet and cabinets, and power patio awning. Truly, the Fourwinds are all beauty, function, and value motorhomes.

Jayco Redhawk

Another smoother ride with the 8 berth Jayco Redhawk. This motorhome takes pride of its 305 HP Triton engine and Ford E-450 chassis for a powerful drive. The 2 slide-outs give this 26' RV a cozy ambiance like that of a bigger model. Accordingly, the inside is complete with facilities including a full kitchen with large refrigerator, oven, microwave, a walk around rear bed with ward and an entertainment system with flat panel LCD TV.

Thor Motor Coach Chateau

The Thor Motor Coach Chateau are some of the latest RVs on the rental fleet. These 2018 automatic RVs with Triton V10 engine are very reliable and comfortable on the road. It can sleep up to 8 people snugly because of it comes with one slide-out. You have three options for this model, all of which feature almost the same interior design― a cab-over bunk with swiveled LED TV, jack-knife sofa and dream dinette that convert into double bed, L-shaped kitchen, and rear bedroom and bathroom.

Insurance

Renters have two insurance options: First, provide an insurance binder from their personal auto insurance company. Second, purchase an RV rental insurance through MBA Choice with an average cost of $29 to $39 per day, depending on the rented RV. Do take note that if you opt for the second option, the security/ damage deposit automatically becomes $2,000.
