So, you'll be hiring a custom campervan with a quite distinct sophistication level! There are 6 campervans on offer, most of these are suitable for couples to families up to 4 only, and you may even bring your pet. Equipped with full bathrooms, full kitchen, comfortable beds, self-contained waste system, and complete entertainment set, the vehicles make your road trip more worthwhile.

Vehicles

Winnebago Revel 4x4

The Winnebago Revel 4x4 is a powerful campervan recommended 3 adults. This 4×4 Mercedes Benz Sprinter is tailored with hill descent mode and high/low range for an off-road journey. Inside, the living space is furnished with a power lift bed that becomes a spacious sleeping surface, either queen or twin with a gear garage. The pull-up dinette also converts into a single bed for extra sleeping space. The kitchen comes with a flip-up counter extension and a fold-down exterior table so that you can comfortably prepare your food inside or outside. Simply, this one is the best option for outdoor enthusiasts.

SS Agile

Moving, the SS Agile is tagged as a recommended 2 berth camper for long drives or even short getaways. This well-equipped motorhome makes any trip comfortable with its sleek features such as panoramic windows, sophisticated hue styling and large interior space. A beautiful motorhome, you get to experience luxury accommodation through its expanded galley fitted with all the kitchen needs, full bathroom, elegant caption seats and plush interior design. So, if you're looking for a head-turner unit, in and out, this one will not disappoint.

Pleasure-Way Ascent

Another option for couples is the Pleasure-Way Ascent, a 2016 model that highlights its elegant, hand-crafted cabinetry and easier driving and parking. Don't be fooled by its simple exteriors because what lies beyond the tinted windows is an interior full of sophistication. And even with its shorter length, it is loaded with every facility you need including an electric sofa with dining table and two side seats, rear TV, private bathroom, and nice kitchen.

Coachmen Galleria

A distinct 2 berth featuring the functionality of a Coachmen RV and the elegance of a Mercedes Sprinter, the Coachmen Galleria defines comfort and practicality. This Class B motorhome is built on a Bluetec turbo-diesel engine, which is known to provide excellent fuel economy. And as one of the biggest motorhomes on the fleet, you will be at awe with the high-end interior design and amenities including the Truma Combi water and furnace heater system, maple cabinetry, Onan generator, Xenon head and fog lamps, Firefly MultiPlex system and more. Also, there's a large storage cabinet and plenty of custom-trimmed storage drawers with soft close doors.

CS Adventurous

From the name itself, the CS Adventurous is designed for 2 adults and 1 kid. Dubbed as the 'ultimate small motorhome' the unit is very easy to maneuver and is equipped with all the comforts of home. Aside from the sophisticated styling and plenty of storage space, the camper is the only option on the fleet that has small laptop tables. So, if you are a working mom/ dad, this one allows you to work and have fun.

RS Adventurous and RSXL Adventurous

To conclude the luxury range are these family motorhomes― the 4 berth RS Adventurous and RSXL Adventurous. The units highlight its unique open concept layout that provides a palatial storage up to 91 cu. ft., as well as panoramic views inside the coach. The living room features an expanded galley, large bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. In comparison, the RS Adventurous is smaller at 22’9″ while the RSXL Adventurous is 24′1″, making it the largest motorhome by the company. Also, the RSXL has a bigger storage length, plus some of these models have rear golf storage racks.

Insurance

First insurance option is you get a binder from your own insurance company, and this entails a refundable security deposit of $1,500. If you can't provide option 1, then you can avail of the insurance from them for an average cost of $34/ day with admin fee of $75. Option 2 comes with a security deposit of $2, 000 and insurance deductible of $1, 500.

Reputation

Mercedes Sprinter RV Rentals is all about luxury rentals. Their fleet of pet-friendly, modern motorhomes may be pricier but these are more than equipped with what you need. Plus, you get to experience a very convenient pick-up and drop-off because of the 28 branches scattered within the country. One downside, however, is the unpopularity of the company. Even with the attractive rental range and complimentary inclusions, the company has yet to conquer the RV rental industry. One factor could be the pricier rates.

Summary

From a fleet of unique and elegant Class B motorhomes, Mercedes Sprinter RV Rentals aims to provide luxury accommodation with a cost. But this cost is all you need to spend, no more extra fees!

"Warning: Check levels before you leave! Better yet, don’t rent from Sande."

  • Reviewed 2 years ago

My husband and I rented a sprinter for a remote wedding weekend on Green Lake from Sande. Was told we were set for our 3 night adventure. Arrive late Thursday afternoon, grill some ridiculous steaks, pour some wine and settle in to our first night. Next morning we enjoy some coffee and a bowl of complimentary granola. We turned the water heater on around 4:30, went to take my first shower around 5 pm ,Friday. No hot water. Even worse, disgusting brown stinky sewage water came up from the shower drain and was filling the basin. We checked the grey water - FULL. Checked the black water - FULL. Then checked fresh water level - 1/3 full…this after 24 hours of using our camper. Barely using the water, toilet and just attempting to shower. Meanwhile, would’ve been at least a three hour round trip drive to find a location to empty tanks and refill water. Not possible given it was a wedding weekend. Upon our return today, we reached out to Sande to let her know our disappointment and her negligence to which she took no responsibility and was downright rude. Everyone makes mistakes and an apology goes a very long way. Unfortunately, that’s not her style. So, we feel it necessary to take to social medial and the BBB. Wish we just took our Raptor and a tent…

This "review" does accurately reflect the clients' complete lack of personal awareness of their rental operates- and it is not coincidence that their statement failed to mention that they caused over $8000 of body damage to this coach.

On the return of the coach, several videos were shot and sent to the client showing the damages, the thickly caked mud all over the coach; the body damage, the missing reflector lens on the taillight, the dent steel undercarriage battery support; the cabinets unhinged. This coach was ABUSED by the renter.
And the renter was COMPLETELY oblivious.
We documented by video that the heating system was fully operation (client just operated incorrectly); the hot water boiler for the heater, which is floor mounted, was rocked so badly from the manner in which the coach was driven, as to strip out all the screws anchoring the tank to the floor boards. The steel undercarriage battery support bracket was completely bent (hard to do on a four by four) and every single cabinet had its contents turned upside down and its hinges stripped because of how the $185,000 coach was mishandled.
Furthermore, the departure photos were sent to the client showing the waste tanks were empty at orientation and the water full. The clients 'dirty water' in the shower pan was a direct result of their ignorance. The combination of driving on uneven, contractually un-permitted roads and their failure to screw the drain plug in place, led to residual grey water rising up.

A renter who reads the manual would know that. This renter was completely ill-prepared, and arrogant. It is easy to blame others. And after 16 years, and thousands of guests, I can say that it is always the clients who do damage who try to disquise their distain of taking personal responsibility with 'poor me' victim BS. Thank goodness that only 13% of our renters fall into this category. LIARS who play "the victim".

This client also failed to mention that anyone who rents this level of coach is not only informed in detail of its operations, but they are admonished repeatedly to both study, and seriously prepare for their travel, and to document the departure and return conditions of their coach for their own protection. They did NONE of this.

And when presented with a dearth of return condition videos and stills that did capture the truth, the husband foul mouthed in lengthy emails. Name-calling personal attacks. Talk about rude. Talk about not taking personal responsibility!

The "review" fails to mention that the husband left a two hour orientation in full acceptance of the coach and told us at that time that they were not going to use the coach for several days.

    "Everyone makes mistakes"... REALLY?

"Complete SCAM"

  • Reviewed 3 years ago

My wife and I rented an RV from owner Sande Cagan based on the gorgeous photos on her website. The RV delivered to us was filthy, reeked of body odor, and appeared nothing liked the photos online. Sande Cagan is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unscrupulous. We wish we had done our research! Read the reviews and stay away!

"Awful Experience - If you rent from them you are a fool."

  • Reviewed 3 years ago

This company and her 28 vehicle fleet are owned by a person named Sande (she would never give her last name). The original vehicle promised and contracted for was not delivered. The substitute vehicle delivered had problems with the toilet and a water leak. Although she delivered the vehicle without water in its tank and there was no way to verify all systems were working, Sande claimed the vehicle was in good working order. Sande claimed our contracts small print made it our responsibility to take time out of our vacation and for us to incur the cost to fix any roblems. Obviously, this was to avoid her having the expense and downtime between rentals. She was rude, unreasonable, and eventually claimed our contract was void, and if we did not comply with her demands, she was going to report the vehicle stolen. For fear of her reprisals, we ended our vacation three days early. You are a fool if you rent from her and this company. You have been warned!

"Great vehicle, shocking support service"

  • Reviewed 4 years ago

We rented this vehicle during July 2019. The vehicle was good except the hot water service never actually worked as it should. This was the catalyst for the very poor service we received from the contact person. Everything was 'our problem' we should never have used the vehicle 'off grid' for which it was designed and the reason we rented it. The contact person was rude and condescending on each occasion and refused to accept that there could be a problem with the vehicle. The contact person would invariably refer to the 'small print' in the contract and eventually accused me of being 'an alcoholic', an interesting dimension to customer service. Solely due to the lack of customer service I would not recommend renting from this company. If all goes well you will be fine, if there is a problem with the vehicle, good luck and my commiserations.
