About American Dream Vacations

Looking for your American dream vacation? You might want to rent out an RV from a company that's been living up to its name for quite a while now― American Dream Vacations. This company aims to provide convenience to every traveller through several accessible branches and extensive fleet. Hence, giving lots of options when it comes to pick-up and drop-off places. Technically, their pricing is based on the type and length of vehicle, as well as the destination and season, but still American Dream Vacations offers competitive RV rates. To top it all, all vehicles are pet-friendly, at no additional fee; plus unlimited generator use at a minimal flat fee!

Fleet

The rental fleet is categorized into Class A, Class C, Travel Trailers, 5th Wheel Trailers, and Tent Campers. Most RVs come with well-utilized layout, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Some models even have phone hookups and cable TV for a more entertaining road trip. There are also over 20,000 RV accessories you can add into your RV such as patio & outdoor lighting, camping table & chairs, awning, waste water supplies, dash cam and many more. However, not all RVs are available in all branches. Below are some of their rental units catering different kinds of group sizes and preferences.

Vehicles

Windsport

A spacious Class A that can comfortably cater a group of 6, this Windsport comes with one slide-out. The interior layout is well-designed for a cozy road trip. Aside from the private rear bedroom with queen bed, sleeping places include the U-shaped dinette and sofa, both convert into snug double bed.

Forest River

This could be the ultimate storage RV. The Forest River is oozing with storage areas, from the living room, down to the kitchen up to the bedroom. The rear bedroom has a lot of wardrobes as well as night stand for a rather convenient sleeping session. This one is a bunkhouse model, featuring a sofa with bunk and jack-knife sofa with footrests. Not only that, there's a power foldaway near the driver and front seat for extra sleeping bed.

Winnebago Vista

This Winnebago Vista is a simple 8 berth sleeper featuring two slide rooms. The driver and passenger seats at the front are swivel chairs. Near the queen rear is a set of bunk beds that will attract the kids. For those looking for a functional rather than a fancy RV, this unit could be the answer.

Thor

A very palatial motorhome for fancy families of 6, this Thor unit features an extended length with two slide-outs. A separate shower and toilet is located at the center area and another toilet is positioned at the back. The kitchen galley is beautifully equipped with counter-top with overhead cabinets, sink and residential fridge. To add more elegance as well as convenience inside, there's a theater sofa sleeper and drop-down overhead bunk.

Class C

Freedom Elite

A 5 berth Class C, this Freelander Elite does not have a slide-out but still easily accommodates the whole family with its rear queen bed, convertible, U-shaped dinette, equipped kitchen and cab-over bunk. Also at the back area is the bathroom with shower and toilet. This simple RV is good for those looking for a rather unassuming road trip complete with the basic necessities.

Chateau

The Chateau is a 29' motorhome sleeping up to 6. This RV is quite fancy with elegant interior features starting from the jack-knife sofa and dream dinette with LED TV in the living area. The back portion is solely for the queen bed, dresser, closet and optional entertainment set. Before going to the bedroom, there's a step-up for a more private vibe.

Quantum

Featuring a full wall slide-out, this 8 berth motorhome fits large groups perfectly with its family-sized dinette as well as spacious bedroom with closet and entertainment set. At the cab-over, aside from the comfy bunk, there's a 40" LED TV as well as a built-in skylight for natural lighting. The swivel front seats allow you to hop on from driving to relaxing in just a second.

Jamboree Fleetwood

For more panoramic viewing, this Jamboree Fleetwood is the answer. Catering up to 8 people, the RV is pretty extended with a length of 31' and full wall slide-room from the living quarters to the rear bedroom. The L-shaped booth is quite unique in configuration but still transforms into a nice double bed. The large windows provide spectacular road views.

Jayco

Look at this posh motorhome. The RV is a 10 sleeper bunkhouse with plenty of sleeping options― cab-over queen bed, sofa and dinette bed, rear king bed and bunks. A nice swivel chair is located right beside the entry step. There are storage spaces as well as entertainment cabinet in the cab-over area. This isn't the only Jayco model and other RVs may differ in sleeping capacity.

Insurance

American Dream Vacations requires a damage deposit amounting to $500 up to $1,000 via cash and check. The collision damage of the first $2, 000 can be covered by your auto insurance policy. This amount can be reduced to $1,000 for an additional of $12/day.

Reputation

Offering clean and well-maintained RVs, there may be few issues about vehicle functionality but this does not define the company as a whole. American Dream Vacations has an extensive rental fleet at competitive rates. They have plenty of branches all over USA but unfortunately not all depots have all same RVs.

Summary

With a lot of RV rental options as well as plenty of branches across the country, American Dreams Vacations can fulfill your RV holidays competitively and competently.

"Poorly maintained equipment"

  • Reviewed 10 months ago

We rented a 41 foot unit from the Houston TX location and had issues with the generator, water and cooktop, none of which functioned. These units are poorly maintained and the staff does not return calls.
